食安查清楚 高危人士咪漏咗

食安仔和食安妹妹化身「生冷搜查隊」偵查生冷食物風險

New publicity campaign on the food safety issues of high-risk foods, enhancing the public awareness of inherent risks related to consumption of raw and undercooked food and food poisoning

 

食物中毒在夏季並不罕見,甚至可導致嚴重的公共衛生問題。由於致病菌在溫暖的環境中生長迅速,炎熱的天氣會大大增加因處理食物不當引致的細菌性食物中毒風險。在香港,6月至9月是食物中毒的高峰期,因此食物安全中心特別透過一年一度的「食物安全日」,提醒公眾和業界,尤其是在夏季期間,保持高度的個人、食物和環境衞生,以確保食物安全。

Food poisoning is not an uncommon summertime malady that can result in dire public health issues. The warm weather in summer can increase the risk of food poisoning due to bacteria because bacteria grow faster in warmer environments. In Hong Kong, June to September is the peak season for food poisoning outbreaks. Through the annual Food Safety Day, the Centre for Food Safety (CFS) of Hong Kong SAR, China reminds members of the public and the trade to be vigilant, particularly during summer, against food poisoning. A public campaign was a key element of the strategy, which aims to reduce the number of foodborne illness cases by changing behaviours and culture around food preparation and storage practices.

食安電影頻道

The CFS Foodsafe Movie Channel

 

食物安全中心開展一個名為「食安電影頻道」的全新網上短片宣傳活動,並請來了中心吉祥物「食安仔」與「食安妹妹」,藉著一系列耳熟能詳的電影作品,以貼地的港產片式幽默與大眾探討一些值得留意的食安話題。

To raise the public’s awareness of food safety, the Centre for Food Safety (CFS) has recently launched a brand-new online video campaign called ‘Foodsafe Movie Channel’. The Centre’s mascots, On and Mui, go through important food safety messages with the public with a hint of Hong Kong movie-styled humour.

 

「食安電影頻道」最新一集《第一屆食安電影金匙獎頒獎典禮》已經於食物安全中心YouTube頻道首播,並在中心的Facebook和Instagram專頁同步上映。

The latest episode of ‘Foodsafe Movie Channel’ has premiered on the CFS’ YouTube channel, and is co-streamed on the CFS' Facebook and Instagram pages.

Roving Exhibitions on Food Safety

 

2021年6月的巡迴展覽內容包括食物安全5要點、控制食物温度、天然毒素、營養標籤、反式脂肪、預防食物交叉污染、避免食用河豚、殘餘獸藥、雪卡毒素、基因改造食物及食物含丙烯酰胺。展覽將設於大成街街市、大圍街市、青衣街市、沙田政府合署及銅鑼灣街市。

The roving exhibitions will be held in June 2021 at Tai Shing Street Market, Tai Wai Market, Tsing Yi Market, Sha Tin Government Offices and Causeway Bay Market. Panels cover topics on 5 Keys for Food Safety, Control of Food Temperature, Natural Toxins, Nutrition Labelling, Trans Fats, Prevention of Cross-contamination, Avoid Consuming Puffer Fish, Veterinary Drug Residues, Natural Toxins, Ciguatoxins, Genetically Modified Food and Acrylamide

食物安全中心公布粽子時令食品調查(第一期)結果

CFS announces results of seasonal food surveillance on rice dumplings (first phase)

中心最近完成一項有關粽子的時令食品調查(第一期),54個粽子樣本全部通過檢測。

The CFS announced that the test results of 54 rice dumpling samples collected under a recently completed seasonal food surveillance project on rice dumplings (first phase) were all satisfactory.
