嬰兒配方產品營養成分組合和營養標籤規定已於12日13日生效
Regulations on nutritional composition and nutrition labelling of infant formula take effect on 13 Dec

政府就規管嬰兒配方產品的營養成分組合和營養標籤訂立的新規定,已於12日13日起實施。新修訂的《食物及藥物(成分組合及標籤)規例》規定所有嬰兒配方產品必須符合營養成分組合規定,而所有供三十六個月以下嬰幼兒食用的嬰兒配方產品、較大嬰兒及幼兒配方產品及預先包裝嬰幼兒食物必須加上營養標籤,以保障食用該等產品的嬰幼兒的健康,並協助家長作出有依據的食物選擇,以及鼓勵食物製造商提供符合營養準則的嬰幼兒配方產品和食品。
The newly amended Food and Drugs (Composition and Labelling) Regulation (Amendment Regulation) regulates the nutritional composition of infant formula and mandates the nutrition labelling of infant formula, follow-up formula and prepackaged food for infants and young children under the age of 36 months, so as to protect the health of infants and young children who consume the products, assist parents in making informed food choices, and encourage food manufacturers to apply sound nutrition principles in the formulation of formula products and foods for infants and young children.

As a way to deliver the latest food safety information timely to the public, the CFS releases the "Food Safety Report" every month, giving an account of the food surveillance sample result analyses.

2015年10月份預先包裝食物之營養素含量及致敏物檢測結果
Results of Compliance Test for Nutrition Labelling and Declaration of Allergens for October 2015

為確保預先包裝食品符合《食物及藥物(成分組合及標籤)規例》,中心自2012年起,一直有抽取預先包裝食物的樣本作檢測,其中包括檢測營養素含量及致敏物。2015年10月份有關營養素含量及致敏物檢測結果的報告,已上載到中心網頁。
The CFS has been testing, among other things, nutrients and allergens in prepackaged food samples for compliance under the Food and Drugs (Composition and Labelling) Regulations since 2012. Monthly Report on Results of Compliance Test for Nutrition Labelling and Declaration of Allergens under the Regulations for October 2015 has been uploaded onto the CFS website.

菇類毒素
Mushroom Toxins

現時不少香港人都愛進食菇類。香港市面常見的菇類約有20個品種,包括香菇(學名: Lentinula edodes, 别名: 冬菇、花菇) ,以及草菇(學名:Voluariella volvacea) 。進食菇類並非全無風險;市民進食菇類引致食物中毒的個案偶有發生。
Nowadays, mushrooms made up an important part of Hong Kong people's menus.  There are about 20 mushroom species commonly sold in Hong Kong.  They include winter mushroom (scientific name: Lentinula edodes) and straw mushroom (scientific name: Volvariella volvacea).  Mushroom consumption is not without risk and sporadic cases of mushroom food poisoning do occur.

Online Shopping of High-risk Foods

近年在網上購買食物愈趨普遍。消費者在網購食物時須加倍留意食物的性質,有很多食物中毒事故都是因為一些高風險食物造成的。
Online food shopping has become a common practice these days. When purchasing food online, consumers should pay particular attention to the nature of foods because certain high-risk food items are known to be associated with food poisoning outbreaks.

食物安全巡迴展覽
Roving Exhibition on Food Safety

12月的巡迴展覽內容包括有機食物、雪卡毒素、孕婦食物安全建議、營養標籤、殘餘除害劑、控制食物溫度、食物安全5要點、反式脂肪、天然毒素及基因改造食物。展覽將設於黃大仙曉暉花園、旺角瓏璽、荃灣荃灣廣場及元朗朗晴居。
The coming exhibitions will be held in December at Scenic View in Wong Tai Sin, Imperial Cullinan in Mong Kok, Tsuen Wan Plaza in Tsuen Wan and Grand Del Sol in Yuen Long. Panels cover topics on organic food, ciguatoxins, food safety advice for pregnant women, nutrition labelling, pesticide residues, control of food temperature, 5 keys for food safety, trans fats, natural toxins and genetically modified food.
