(1) 二零二四年食物安全巡迴展覽

2024年5月的巡迴展覽內容包括:殘餘獸藥、天然毒素、雪卡毒素、營養標籤、殘餘除害劑、反式脂肪、預防食物交叉污染、孕婦食物安全建議及有機食物。展覽將設於渣華道街市、北河街街市、海港政府大樓、及大角咀街市。

(2) 植物肉及培養肉

儘管有人認為不含肉類成分的替代品是更健康的選擇,但為了保持產品的質感及風味,這些植物肉/素肉產品一般會添加不同的含鈉調味料及添加劑,以致這些產品往往含有較高分量的鈉。市民應查看營養標籤上所示的鈉及脂肪含量,並選擇含有較少鈉及脂肪的植物肉/素肉產品。

(3) 食物安全焦點 (2024年4月第213期)

最新一期的食物安全焦點已經出版。今期熱門焦點包括:
- 米酵菌酸-不常見但可致命的毒素
- 認識超加工食品與相關的健康飲食方法
- 鉀鹽作為食鹽代替品的角色
- 減低生三文魚的食物安全風險

(4) 《食物及藥物(成分組合及標籤)規例》之營養素含量及致敏物檢測結果每月報告 (2024年3月)

為確保食品符合《規例》,食物安全中心(中心)一直有抽取預先包裝食物的樣本作檢測,其中包括檢測營養素含量及致敏物。由2012年1月的檢測結果開始,中心每月在網頁上公布有關檢測結果,包括營養素標示值與檢測結果有差異的樣本詳情。自2012年4月1日起,有關含未有標示致敏物的食品樣本詳情亦會一併公布。

(1) Roving Exhibitions on Food Safety 2024

The roving exhibitions will be held in May 2024 at Java Road Market, Pei Ho Street Market, Harbour Building, and Tai Kok Tsui Market. Panels cover topics on Veterinary Drug Residues, Natural Toxins, Ciguatoxins, Nutrition Labelling, Pesticide Residues, Trans Fats, Prevention of Cross-contamination, Food Safety Advice for Pregnant Women and Organic Food.

(2) Plant-based Meat and Cultured Meat

Though some believe that meat free alternatives are healthier options, plant-based meat products are often added with different sodium-containing condiments and additives to maintain their texture and flavour which contribute to the relatively high levels of sodium in these products. The public should check for the sodium and fat content on nutrition labels and choose plant-based meat products with less sodium and fat.

(3) Food Safety Focus (213rd Issue, April 2024)

The latest issue of Food Safety Focus is now available. The topics include:

(4) Monthly Report on Results of Compliance Test for Nutrition Labelling and Declaration of Allergens under the Food and Drugs (Composition and Labelling) Regulations (for the month of March 2024)

The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) has been testing, among other things, nutrients and allergens in prepackaged food samples for compliance under the Regulations. Results of compliance test since January 2012 have been published on the CFS website in the form of monthly reports, which include details of the food samples with discrepancies between labelled and tested nutrient values. Results of those food samples with food allergens detected but undeclared are also published from 1 April 2012 onwards.
