Food Safety Report for July 2015

中心會每月公布「食物安全報告」,分析當月的食品監察結果,令市民可適時地獲得最新的食物安全資訊。
As a way to deliver the latest food safety information timely to the public, the CFS releases the "Food Safety Report" every month, giving an account of the food surveillance sample result analyses.

生蠔有潛在風險,高危人士應避免
Oyster poses potential risk, high-risk persons should avoid

蠔以過濾大量海水的方式進食,體內容易積聚各種病原體(包括細菌和病毒)。生蠔可能會被存在於飼養水域中細菌和病毒污染,而進食前亦不經烹煮,與其他生食的食物一樣有潛在的微生物風險,過去亦是常見引致食物中毒的元兇。因此,高風險人士(長者、幼童、孕婦和免疫力較弱的人及肝病患者)應避免進食生蠔或只食用徹底煮熟的蠔。
Oyster takes its food by means of filtration and accumulates a variety of pathogens (including bacteria and viruses) inside its body easily. Raw oysters may be contaminated by bacteria and viruses in breeding water. The consumption of raw oyster may pose similar microbiological risk as other raw foods. Raw oyster is also a common cause of food poisoning culprit in the past. Therefore, the high-risk groups (elderly, children, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems and patients with liver disease) should avoid eating raw oysters or only eat thoroughly cooked oysters.

2015年7月份預先包裝食物之營養素含量及致敏物檢測結果
Results of Compliance Test for Nutrition Labelling and Declaration of Allergens for July 2015

為確保預先包裝食品符合《食物及藥物(成分組合及標籤)規例》,中心自2012年起,一直有抽取預先包裝食物的樣本作檢測,其中包括檢測營養素含量及致敏物。2015年7月份有關營養素含量及致敏物檢測結果的報告,已上載到中心網頁。
The CFS has been testing, among other things, nutrients and allergens in prepackaged food samples for compliance under the Food and Drugs (Composition and Labelling) Regulations since 2012. Monthly Report on Results of Compliance Test for Nutrition Labelling and Declaration of Allergens under the Regulations for July 2015 has been uploaded onto the CFS website.

食物安全巡迴展覽
Roving Exhibition on Food Safety

9月的巡迴展覽內容包括食物安全5要點、控制食物溫度、殘餘除害劑、預防食物交叉污染、避免進食河豚、營養標籤、雪卡毒素、有機食物、反式脂肪及進食帶子和扇貝須知。展覽將設於北區上水皇府山、屯門新墟街市、沙田欣廷軒及北角政府合署。
The coming exhibitions will be held in September at Noble Hill in Sheung Shui, San Hui Market in Tuen Mun, Prima Villa in Shatin and North Point Government Offices . Panels cover topics on 5 keys for food safety, control of food temperature, pesticide residues, prevention of cross-contamination, avoid consuming puffer fish, nutrition labelling, ciguatoxin, organic food, trans fats, take notice of eating scallops.
