本地兒童餐的營養素含量硏究
Study on Nutrient Content of Children's Meals in Hong Kong

中心與消費者委員會合作,研究本港食肆的兒童餐營養成分含量。研究涵蓋本港15間食肆兒童餐的能量、總脂肪、飽和脂肪、反式脂肪、糖和鈉含量,及可食用部分的重量。研究發現,各款兒童餐的營養成分含量差別甚大。消費者應留意食肆供應的兒童餐的營養素含量,為兒童選擇合適的兒童餐。
The CFS and the Consumer Council have conducted a joint study on the nutrient content of children's meals from restaurants in Hong Kong. This study covers 15 local restaurants. Samples of children's meals were tested for energy, total fat, saturated fat, trans fat, sugars and sodium. The weight of edible portion of the meals was also noted. The results show that the nutrient content varies greatly among children's meals. The public should take note of the nutrient content of children's meals and choose the appropriate set for children.

『食鹽關注周』2015年3月16-22日
Salt Awareness Week 16-22 March 2015

中心已經展開了「全城減鹽減糖」的行動,向市民和業界推廣少鹽及少糖的健康飲食習慣。中心支持於2015年3月16至22日舉行之「世界食鹽關注周」,今年的主題是「鹽與兒童健康」,活動的重點是要令大家關注從小培養健康飲食習慣的重要性,並呼籲食物業界履行責任,減少在兒童食物中添加的鹽分,以及停止向兒童宣傳高鹽食物。
The CFS has launched the Hong Kong's Action on Salt and Sugar Reduction to promote healthy eating with less salt and sugar to the general public and the food trade. The CFS supports the World Salt Awareness Week between 16 and 22 March 2015 with the theme 'Salt and Children'. The focus of this year is to ensure everyone understands the importance of a healthy start for children. Food industry is encouraged to act more responsibly by reducing the amount of salt they add to children's food and to stop advertising high salt food to children.

食物安全巡迴展覽
Roving Exhibition on Food Safety

3月下旬的巡迴展覽內容包括營養標籤、殘餘獸藥、反式脂肪、食物安全五要點及天然毒素。展覽將設於筲箕灣愛東商場及東區鰂魚涌街市。
The coming exhibitions will be held in late March. The venues include Oi Tung Shopping Centre in Shau Kei Wan and Quarry Bay Market in Eastern District. Panels cover topics on nutrition labelling, pesticide residues, trans fats, 5 keys to food safety and natural toxin.
