Subject: 2012R2-FNSC4180: Question about endospore-forming bacteria
I have a question about endospore-forming bacteria. From the notes, there are 3 genera of endospore-forming bacteria, including Bacillus, Clostridium and Desulfolomaculum. I have checked on Google and Wiki, there is no Gram -ve Desulfolomaclum. The closest one I have come across is Desulfotomaculum, which is Gram +ve. I am a bit confused here. Can you answer me when you have time? Thanks so much. I hope it would not be a bother.
Regards,

Answer:
These endospore-formers are Gram-positive bacteria. The spelling of Desulfolomaculum is wrong, Desuluotomaculum is correct.
