Horsemeat Found in Hamburgers - Discovery News

<p>Still a meat lover? If you live in the U.K., you might want to take a moment to look under the bun. In a study, scientists from the <a href="http://www.fsai.ie/news_centre/press_releases/horseDNA15012013.html">Food Safety Authority of Ireland</a> found that 10 out of 27 hamburger products analyzed contained horse DNA and 23 of them tested positive for pig DNA.</p><p>"In Ireland, it is not in our culture to eat horsemeat and therefore, we do not expect to find it in a burger," Alan Reilly, the chief executive of the Irish food authority told CNN.
