食物環境衞生署(食環署)食物安全中心(中心)早前跟進懷疑涉及三文治的食物中毒事件 The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) of Food Environment Hygiene Department (FEHD) followed up on suspected food poisoning cases involving sandwiches 中心早前跟進懷疑涉及三文治的食物中毒事件時,發現涉事三文治由香港一所無牌食物製造工場製造,因此,食環署已向有關處所負責人提出檢控。中心亦已指令有關處所停止製作及售賣有關產品。 The CFS followed up on suspected food poisoning cases involving sandwiches earlier, it was found that the sandwiches concerned were produced by an unlicensed food factory in Hong Kong. Prosecution had been instituted against the person-in-charge of the premises by the FEHD. The CFS had also instructed the food premises concerned to stop production and selling of the product concerned. 根據《食物業規例》(第132X章),任何人經營無牌食物製造工場,即屬違法,一經定罪,最高刑罰為罰款五萬元及入獄六個月。 Under the Food Business Regulation (Cap 132X), the maximum penalty for operating an unlicensed food factory is a fine of $50,000 and six months' imprisonment upon conviction. 另外,根據《公眾衞生及市政條例》(第132章)第54條的規定,所有在香港出售的食物,不論進口或本地生產,必須適合供人食用。若觸犯有關法例,可被判最高罰款五萬元及監禁六個月。 According to Section 54 of the Public Health and Municipal Services Ordinance (Cap 132), all food for sale in Hong Kong, whether locally produced or imported, should be fit for human consumption.
