2017年12月份食物安全報告及2017年食物監察計劃全年總結
Food Safety Report for December and Summary of Food Surveillance Programme for 2017

中心每月公布「食物安全報告」,分享食物監察結果,令市民可適時地獲得最新的食物安全資訊。
此外,總結2017年食物監察計劃,整體合格率為99.8%,與近年情況相若,顯示本港的食物安全一直維持在高水平。
As a way to deliver the latest food safety information timely to the public, the CFS announces the "Food Safety Report" every month, sharing the food surveillance results.
Besides, concluding the food surveillance programme for 2017, the overall satisfactory rate was 99.8%, which was comparable to the results in recent years. This indicates that food safety has been maintained at a high standard in Hong Kong.

食物中的鄰苯二甲酸酯
Phthalates in Food

鄰苯二甲酸酯是一種常在塑膠製造過程中用於軟化塑料的化合物(又稱"塑化劑")。它被廣泛用於不同的消費品,包括塑膠容器、個人護理產品和玩具等。鄰苯二甲酸酯在環境中可說無處不在,食物中含有小量的鄰苯二甲酸酯並不意外。這項研究從16個食物組別合共抽取了317個樣本,以檢測七種鄰苯二甲酸酯的含量。化驗結果顯示食品普遍含有鄰苯二甲酸酯。在進行風險評估後,可確定在一般食用情況下,這些樣本的鄰苯二甲酸酯含量不會對健康構成不良影響。
Phthalates is a large group of chemicals that are commonly used to soften plastics polymers (otherwise known as "plasticisers"). They are used in a wide range of consumer products including but not limited to plastic containers, personal care products and toys. They are ubiquitous in the environment and low levels of phthalates in food is not unexpected. A total of 317 samples in 16 food groups were tested for seven phthalates. The results showed that phthalates are widespread in food. Risk assessment confirmed that all these samples would not cause adverse health problem from phthalates alone upon usual consumption.

賀年食品的時令食品調查(第二期)結果
Test Results of seasonal food surveillance project on Lunar New Year food (second phase)

中心完成一項有關賀年食品的時令食品調查(第二期),約六十個樣本中,除較早前公布一個瓶裝腰果樣本不符營養標籤規定外,其餘樣本全部通過檢測。
The CFS announced the test results of a recently completed seasonal food surveillance project on Lunar New Year food (second phase). The test results of around 60 samples collected were satisfactory, except for a sample of bottled cashew nuts found not in compliance with the nutrition label rule, which was announced earlier.
