香港售賣的預先包裝食物的營養標籤可閱性
Legibility of Nutrition Labels (NL) in Prepackaged Food in Hong Kong

可閱而適當標示各項必要資料的食物標籤,有助消費者作出明智的選擇。中心聯同消費者委員會進行了一項研究,了解食物業界有否按照中心的《業界指引》製作營養標籤,並向業界提出具體建議,以提供可閱的營養標籤。
Legible food label with essential information of product appropriately marked would help consumers make informed choices. The CFS and the Consumer Council have conducted a joint study to have a snap shot on whether the trade provides legible NL in accordance with the "Trade Guidelines on Preparation of Legible Food Label" and provide advices to trade for improving the legibility of NL.

專項食品調查 - 醃製水果及蔬菜中的防腐劑
Targeted food surveillance – Preservatives in preserved fruits and vegetables

防腐劑(例如二氧化硫、苯甲酸及山梨酸)經常用於醃製水果及蔬菜。中心曾發現醃製水果及蔬菜有防腐劑超標情況,故繼續進行有關食品調查以評估情況。該專項調查的最新檢測結果已上載到中心網頁。
Preservatives (e.g. sulphur dioxide, benzoic acid and sorbic acid) are commonly used in preserving fruits and vegetables. The CFS notes that there had been levels of excessive preservatives detected in samples of preserved fruits and vegetables and therefore continues to launch a surveillance project to assess the situation. The recent targeted food surveillance project has been uploaded onto the CFS website.

食物安全巡迴展覽
Roving Exhibition on Food Safety

食物安全巡迴展覽將於2月24日在旺角花園街街市舉行,讓市民認識營養標籤、預防食物交叉污染及控制食物溫度。
A roving exhibition on Food Safety will be held on 24 February in Fa Yuen Street Market in Mongkok for participants to learn more about nutrition labelling, prevention of cross contamination and control of food temperature.
