(1) 食物安全日2026

中心於6月7日啓動食物安全日2026的全年宣傳活動,以「洗手」為核心主題,透過一系列主題短片、社交媒體貼文和海報等,強調保持手部衞生在預防食源性疾病方面至關重要,同時響應聯合國糧食及農業組織與世界衞生組織的「世界食物安全日」。

(3) 「家家食安心: 認識食物安全五要點-居家食物安全建議」公眾講座及工作坊 2026

中心將於本年7月14日、7月31日及9月18日舉辦二零二六年度「家家食安心: 認識食物安全五要點 - 居家食物安全建議」公眾講座及工作坊。這個活動主要是向公眾人士宣傳如何在日常運用「食物安全五點」,只要做好「食物安全五點」,大多數食源性疾病是可以預防的。期間亦會介紹有關營養標籤及食物敏感的資訊。

(4) 食安中心公布粽子時令食品調查結果

中心於6月12日公布,最近完成一項有關粽子的時令食品調查。在一百六十個粽子樣本中,除較早前公布的一個預先包裝粽子樣本的總脂肪含量與其營養標籤上的標示值不符,其餘樣本全部通過檢測。粽子是端午節的時令食品,是次食品調查旨在適時為消費者及業界提供有關粽子的食用安全資訊。

(1) Food Safety Day 2026

CFS kicked off Food Safety Day 2026 promotional campaign on 7th June. With "handwashing" as the core theme, a series of thematic short videos, social media posts, and posters, will be launched to highlight the importance of maintaining hand hygiene in preventing foodborne diseases, and to echo World Food Safety Day of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the World Health Organization.

(3) "Safe Food for All: To Understand Five Keys to Food Safety - Food Safety Advice at Home" Public Talk and Workshop 2026

CFS is organising the Public Talk and Workshop on "Safe Food for All: To Understand Five Keys to Food Safety - Food Safety Advice at Home" on 14.7.2026, 31.7.2026 and 18.9.2026. The objective of the program is to promote to the public how to apply the "Five Keys to Food Safety" in daily life. Following the "Five Keys to Food Safety" can prevent most food-borne diseases. Information about nutrition labelling and food allergy will also be introduced.

(4) CFS announces results of seasonal food surveillance on rice dumplings

On 12th June, CFS announced the results of a recently completed seasonal food surveillance project on rice dumplings. Of the 160 samples tested, one prepackaged rice dumpling sample was found with a total fat content inconsistent with the declared value on its nutrition label that was announced earlier. The remaining samples passed the tests. Rice dumplings are a popular festive food for the Tuen Ng Festival. The project aims to provide information on safe consumption of rice dumplings to consumers and the trade in a timely manner.
